I had a BLAST at Hard Summer this weekend. I'm totally exhausted but it was worth it. I wanted to be festive so I went shopping for some rave gear, and didn't really end up wearing any of it! On Saturday I wore my Urban Outfitters skirt and the top I wore on the Forth of July.
Both days I wore my new combat boots that I got for $25! (Call It Spring) This was clutch when having to navigate around dirt, wood chips, and porta pottys... ew!

On Sunday I really wanted to be festive for Empire of the Sun, so I found this wolf hat at the 99 Cent depot for $8.00 (yes, $8 at the 99cent depot lol). It reminded me of the "Alive" music video so I attempted to do my makeup like one of the girls, ha! I definitely have respect for face painters, as it took me about 30 minutes to get this somewhat simple eye makeup to look presentable. I wore a dress I've had for years, that I got at Nordstroms BP section for about $30.

I think I'm happy with all results! I wasn't able to bring my DSLR to the event, but here are some of my favorite shots that I was able to capture on my iPhone:
